A Study Found a Link Between Shingles and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS); polyDNA Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin to Reduce Fatigue Linked to a Viral Infection

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) May 21, 2014

Many studies found a link between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and the Epstein Barr Virus (EBV). Now, a new study found a link between the varicella zoster virus (VZV), the virus that causes Chickenpox and Shingles, and CFS. “This study evaluated the association between herpes zoster (HZ) infection and the risk of CFS, and examined the possibility of patients developing postviral fatigue effects, including the possibility of developing other unexplainable chronic fatigue conditions (1).” The study found that “the HZ cohort showed a significantly higher cumulative incidence rate of developing CFS than the non-HZ patients (1).” polyDNA recommends that individuals who have had Chickenpox or Shingles talk to their doctors about Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin. The antiviral formula of these natural products was shown to reduce viral symptoms, including fatigue, in two post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.

Another study suggested that “Virtually all CFS symptoms could be produced by an infection of the peripheral ganglia (a group of nerve cell bodies located in the peripheral nervous system), with infection of the autonomic ganglia (a cluster of nerve cell bodies (a ganglion) in the autonomic nervous system), causing fatigue, postural hypotension, and sleep disturbances, and infection of the sensory ganglia causing sensory symptoms such as chronic pain. Furthermore, infections of the peripheral ganglia are known to cause long-term nerve dysfunction, which would help explain the chronic course of CFS.” (See The Middle East Molecular Biology Congress & Exhibition, from 2009) (2). In addition, “VZV is known to frequently reactivate in the peripheral ganglia of previously healthy adults and cause sudden, debilitating illness, making it a likely candidate as a cause of CFS. Moreover, many of the symptoms of CFS overlap with those of herpes zoster (Shingles), with the exception that painful rash is not one of the symptoms of CFS (2).”

To make things worse, “Co-infection with multiple herpesviruses is a possibility, as some CFS patients show signs of infection with other herpesviruses including Epstein-Barr, Cytomegalovirus, and HHV6. These three herpesviruses can attack immune cells, and may therefore promote neurotropic herpesvirus reactivation in the ganglia (2).” In other words, an infection with one or more of these herpesviruses, including VZV, may contribute to the development of CFS.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a “devastating disease that still puzzles doctors, and only a fraction of sufferers are properly diagnosed. Once derided as ‘yuppie flu,’ CFS actually cuts across all races and economic groups. But it still battles a heavy stigma, and research funding is scarce. Thirty years after its first discovery, there is no single diagnostic test and no treatment.” (See AlJazeera.com, from January 3, 2014) (3).

CFS usually occurs during the latent phase of a viral infection, which follows an active infection. “Almost all patients reported a previous infection as the onset of fatigue symptom.” (See the International Journal of Pediatrics, from 2013) (4). Moreover, “Almost all patients reported themselves to be previously healthy prior to their fatigue and also ascribed the onset due to an infection (4).”

“We recommend that patients with severe fatigue talk to their doctors about Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin. The formula of these natural antivirals was shown to reduce fatigue in patients with a viral infection.” – Mike Evans, polyDNA

As far as we know, the only two products currently available that target latent viruses such as VZV (and other latent herpesviruses) are Gene-Eden-VIR, and Novirin.

Novirin shares the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. The difference between the two is that Novirin has higher quality, more expensive ingredients. The Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula was tested in two post-marketing clinical studies published in September 2013 and March 2014, respectively, in the peer reviewed medical journal Pharmacy & Pharmacology (5).

Interested individuals can view the two published studies here, http://cbcd.net/Gene-Eden-VIR-Clinical-Study.php and http://cbcd.net/Gene-Eden-VIR-Decreases-Fatigue-Clinical-Study.php.

Up to 70% of those studied reported a decrease in symptoms associated with CMV infection, and users of the Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula experienced an increase in overall health (5).

Each ingredient of Novirin was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world to identify the highest quality, safest, most effective natural ingredients that target latent viruses.

A second clinical study showed that the Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula decreased physical and mental fatigue. (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from March, 2014) (6).

Study: Latent EBV Infects Immune Cells in MS; polyDNA Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin Against the Latent Epstein Barr Virus

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) May 19, 2014

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection is associated with multiple sclerosis (MS). One recent study found that “Patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) have elevated antibodies against Epstein-Barr virus (EBV).” (See the Journal of Neuroimmunology, from April 16, 2014) (2). Research also shows high levels of latently infected cells in MS patients. In another recent study, “MS patients and controls were examined for their B-cell subsets and during 16 weeks for spontaneous lymphocyte transforming events. MS patients had normal distribution of B-cell subsets, but a significantly higher incidence of B-cell transforming events, which occurred with kinetics similar to controls. The higher incidence suggests an increased frequency of latent EBV-infected B cells in MS. (1).” polyDNA recommends that patients with MS talk to their doctors about Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was designed to help the immune system target the latent Epstein Barr Virus.

Dr. Oz notes that “People with MS have a faulty immune response that causes immune cells to mistakenly attack the protective insulation (myelin) surrounding nerve fibers. When the myelin sheath is stripped it interferes with the transmission of nerve messages throughout the body and brain causing a wide range of neurological problems depending on where the damage occurs.” (See DoctorOz.com, from February 16, 2010) (3). According to the Dr. Oz website, “There are a few things that link the MS to EBV infections (3).” These include the following facts: “Nearly everyone with MS tests positive for EBV, people clear of the virus don’t get the disease, high levels of EBV antibodies precede MS symptoms and flare-ups, and infectious mononucleosis doubles the risk for MS (3).”

What can infected people do against the EBV?

A few antiviral drugs are available that were shown to inhibit EBV replication in cell culture. These drugs include the acyclic nucleoside analogues aciclovir, ganciclovir, penciclovir, and their respective prodrugs valaciclovir, valganciclovir and famciclovir, the acyclic nucleotide analogues cidofovir and adefovir, and the pyrophosphate analogue foscarnet. However, clinical studies have shown that these drugs are mostly ineffective in humans. (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from September 2013) (4).

There are, however, some natural antiviral products that were shown to reduce EBV symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. These products are Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin.

Novirin shares the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. The difference between the two is that Novirin has higher quality, more expensive ingredients. The Novirin/Gene-Eden-VIR formula was tested in two post-marketing clinical studies published in September 2013 and March 2014, respectively, in the peer reviewed medical journal Pharmacy & Pharmacology (4).

Is a Dietary Supplement with More Ingredients Better?; polyDNA Answers Survey Question and Recommends Novirin, a Dietary Supplement with Just Five Ingredients

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) April 27, 2014

polyDNA’s latest survey discovered that 74% of respondents wondered if dietary supplements with many ingredients were “better” than those with just a few. Some companies claim that more ingredients make dietary supplements more effective. However, the FDA notes that part of the safe use of dietary supplements is ensuring that natural products do not have “too much or too little of a dietary ingredient.” (See the FDA, last updated December 7, 2013) (1). In addition, “Manufacturers are responsible for substantiating the safety of dietary ingredients and also for determining that certain structure/function and other claims they make about their products are substantiated by adequate evidence to show that the claims are truthful and not misleading (1).” Novirin was designed with exactly the right number of ingredients at the right doses to target latent viruses in infected individuals. Customers of polyDNA can trust this claim because a post marketing clinical study showed that, as predicted, individuals infected with HPV, EBV, HSV, HCMV, and HCV reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with the Novirin formula.

“Dietary supplements contain a variety of ingredients, such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbs or other botanicals. Research has confirmed health benefits of some dietary supplements but not others.” (See the NIH, last updated March 2013) (2). Research confirms that Novirin is one of the dietary supplements with proven health benefits.

Novirin shares the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR, which was shown to “safely and effectively decrease symptoms in individuals infected with the HPV, HSV, EBV, HCMV, and HCV.” (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from September 2013) (3).

Study: Latent CMV in Sperm May Cause Male Infertility; polyDNA Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent Human Cytomegalovirus

Study: Latent CMV in Sperm May Cause Male Infertility; polyDNA Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent Human Cytomegalovirus

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) April 03, 2014

The human cytomegalovirus (CMV) may be a cause of male infertility. In fact, “15-20% of infertile subjects are affected by semen infection (1).” Even if a man has no symptoms, he may have a latent infection in his sperm. In addition, this type of infection is associated with poor sperm quality (1). polyDNA therefore recommends that men ask their doctors for a blood test that identifies the existence of a latent infection with CMV. If positive, that individual should then speak to their doctors about Gene-Eden-VIR. This natural antiviral was designed to help the immune system target the latent CMV.

Researchers believe that latent viral infections are an underestimated etiological factor in male infertility (1). In other words, doctors often take the existence of a latent viral infection too lightly. As study authors wrote, “common sexually transmitted viruses are able to colonize semen, and thus, (should be) of major concern for reproductive specialists are (the) herpesviruses (HSV), human cytomegalovirus (CMV), and adeno-associated virus (AAV) (1).”

For example, CMV is able to infect most parts of a man’s sperm. “A recent study on HCMV-infected organotypic cultures identified the presence of viral antigens and viral particles in spermatogonia, spermatocytes, and in spermatids, producing lytic effects.” In other words, the virus began to actively replicate in all stages of sperm development.

Study authors noted that a latent infection with CMV can harm a man’s ability to reproduce, by affecting sperm parameters and function. Additionally, it can be transmitted to both mothers and babies in the uterus, causing potentially life-threatening conditions, especially for newborns (1).

“Several drugs are approved for the treatment of HCMV infections in immunocompromised individuals. These drugs include ganciclovir, its oral prodrug valganciclovir, cidofovir, foscavir, and fomivirsen. However, the use of these drugs in immunocompetent individuals is limited by their toxicity, poor oral bioavailability, modest efficacy, and the development of drug resistance.” (See Pharmacology & Pharmacy, from September 2013) (2). There are also some natural antivirals like Gene-Eden-VIR.

“We recommend that individuals concerned about infertility get tested for the presence of a latent CMV infection. If positive, that person should talk to the doctor about Gene-Eden-VIR.” – Mike Evans, polyDNA

A study published on August 12, 2013 in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs, showed that Gene-Eden-VIR reduced herpes symptoms. Study authors wrote that, “Individuals infected with the herpes virus… reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR (2).” The study authors also wrote that, “We observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms (2).”

Research shows that an infection with CMV also causes a feeling of physical and mental fatigue. Since Gene-Eden-VIR is antiviral, a second post-marketing clinical study showed that Gene-Eden-VIR decreases the feeling of physical and mental fatigue. That study was published in March, 2014 in the journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy (3).

Genital Herpes: When Can I Stop Taking Acyclovir? polyDNA Answers Survey Questions and Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent HSV-2

Genital Herpes: When Can I Stop Taking Acyclovir? polyDNA Answers Survey Questions and Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent HSV-2

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) January 27, 2014

People that take drugs against a genital herpes (HSV-2) infection for a long time, often wonder when they can stop. In its December 2013 survey, polyDNA learned that many individuals wanted to stop taking genital herpes medications such as Acyclovir, Famciclovir, and Valacyclovir. Some doctors allow their patients to stop taking anti-herpes medications after about 2 – 3 years without symptoms.

Dr. Charlotte Grayson, MD said, “Since the frequency of the recurrences decreases over time without suppressive therapy and the treatment is expensive, lifelong therapy is not usually recommended.” In addition, she added that “Once the infection is controlled, some physicians decrease the dose and often stop the drug altogether. Currently, many patients stop suppressive therapy after about two years of treatment.” (See HealthCentral.com, from March 14, 2007) (1).

The most commonly prescribed anti-herpes medication is Acyclovir. “It slows the growth and spread of the herpes virus so that the body can fight off the infection. Acyclovir will not cure herpes, but it can lessen the symptoms of the infection.” (See Drugs.com on Acyclovir) (2).

While some doctors allow their patients to stop taking anti-herpes medications after a few years, the virus stays in the body in a latent state, and can potentially reactivate once medication is stopped. Therefore, polyDNA recommends that individuals take Gene-Eden-VIR while taking anti-herpes medications and after they stop. Gene-Eden-VIR will help their immune system target the latent herpes virus that resides in the body during the time they take the anti-herpes medication and continues to reside in the body after they stop.

In addition, polyDNA points out that, while effective, Acyclovir is considered expensive, and has a number of side effects, including “abdominal or stomach pain, decreased frequency of urination or amount of urine, increased thirst, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting (and) unusual tiredness or weakness (2).”

Gene-Eden-VIR was designed to be affordable over the long term, and was clinically proven to safely reduce symptoms of a genital herpes infection in a study that followed FDA guidelines.

After hearing some of these facts, survey respondent Barbara L. said, “I’ve been taking Acyclovir for 10 years. I haven’t had an outbreak for a majority of that time. Because of that, my doctor recently told me I could probably stop taking it. That actually makes me upset. I’ve spent a ton of money, and now I find out I could have saved?”

“Individuals must realize that if they stop taking their anti-herpes drugs, the herpes virus is still lurking in their system in a latent state. We recommend that these people take Gene-Eden-VIR, an effective, affordable herpes remedy that was proven to reduce herpes symptoms in a post-marketing clinical study.” – Mike Evans, polyDNA

In a post marketing clinical study published on August 12, 2013 in the medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs, researchers showed that Gene-Eden-VIR is safe and effective (3). Additionally, up to 70% of those studied reported a decrease in viral symptoms, and users experienced an increase in overall health (3).

Each ingredient of Gene-Eden-VIR was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent HSV-2. Studies: Smoking and Poor Oral Hygiene Increases Risk of HPV Diseases; polyDNA Recommends Targeting Latent HPV with Gene-Eden-VIR

Studies: Smoking and Poor Oral Hygiene Increases Risk of HPV Diseases; polyDNA Recommends Targeting Latent HPV with Gene-Eden-VIR

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) December 04, 2013

Men who smoke have an increased risk of developing human papillomavirus (HPV) related diseases (1). Researchers showed that poor oral hygiene was also associated with persistent oral HPV infection, according to a study published in September 2013 in the journal of Cancer Prevention Research (2).

“Researchers found that among the study participants, those who reported poor oral health had a 56 percent higher prevalence of oral HPV infection, and those who had gum disease and dental problems had a 51 percent and 28 percent higher prevalence of oral HPV infection, respectively. In addition, the researchers were able to associate oral HPV infections with number of teeth lost. Similar to genital HPV infection, oral HPV infection can be of two kinds: infection with low-risk HPV types that do not cause cancer, but can cause a variety of benign tumors or warts in the oral cavity, and infection with high-risk HPV types that can cause oropharyngeal cancers.” This is according to an article published on Sciencedaily.com on August 21, 2013 (3).

“Being male, smoking cigarettes, using marijuana, and oral sex habits increased the likelihood of oral HPV infection. They also found that self-rated overall (poor) oral health was an independent risk factor for oral HPV infection (3).”

Dr. Thanh Cong Bui said that “Poor oral health is a new independent risk factor for oral HPV infection… The good news is this risk factor is modifiable (that is, controlled) (3).”

polyDNA recommends that individuals stop smoking. In addition, individuals should ensure good oral hygiene by brushing teeth and flossing regularly. They should also visit the dentist periodically. Finally, individuals should take Gene-Eden-VIR, a natural HPV remedy clinically proven to reduce HPV symptoms.

“The thought of HPV warts growing in the mouth or throat should be enough to drive people to take action. No one wants oral warts, and no one wants to develop oral cancer.”– Mike Evans, polyDNA

A study published on August 12, 2013 in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs, showed that Gene-Eden-VIR reduced HPV symptoms. Study authors wrote that, “Individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR (4).” The study authors also wrote that, “We observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms (4).”
