Genital Herpes: When Can I Stop Taking Acyclovir? polyDNA Answers Survey Questions and Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent HSV-2

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) January 27, 2014

People that take drugs against a genital herpes (HSV-2) infection for a long time, often wonder when they can stop. In its December 2013 survey, polyDNA learned that many individuals wanted to stop taking genital herpes medications such as Acyclovir, Famciclovir, and Valacyclovir. Some doctors allow their patients to stop taking anti-herpes medications after about 2 – 3 years without symptoms.

Dr. Charlotte Grayson, MD said, “Since the frequency of the recurrences decreases over time without suppressive therapy and the treatment is expensive, lifelong therapy is not usually recommended.” In addition, she added that “Once the infection is controlled, some physicians decrease the dose and often stop the drug altogether. Currently, many patients stop suppressive therapy after about two years of treatment.” (See HealthCentral.com, from March 14, 2007) (1).

The most commonly prescribed anti-herpes medication is Acyclovir. “It slows the growth and spread of the herpes virus so that the body can fight off the infection. Acyclovir will not cure herpes, but it can lessen the symptoms of the infection.” (See Drugs.com on Acyclovir) (2).

While some doctors allow their patients to stop taking anti-herpes medications after a few years, the virus stays in the body in a latent state, and can potentially reactivate once medication is stopped. Therefore, polyDNA recommends that individuals take Gene-Eden-VIR while taking anti-herpes medications and after they stop. Gene-Eden-VIR will help their immune system target the latent herpes virus that resides in the body during the time they take the anti-herpes medication and continues to reside in the body after they stop.

In addition, polyDNA points out that, while effective, Acyclovir is considered expensive, and has a number of side effects, including “abdominal or stomach pain, decreased frequency of urination or amount of urine, increased thirst, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting (and) unusual tiredness or weakness (2).”

Gene-Eden-VIR was designed to be affordable over the long term, and was clinically proven to safely reduce symptoms of a genital herpes infection in a study that followed FDA guidelines.

After hearing some of these facts, survey respondent Barbara L. said, “I’ve been taking Acyclovir for 10 years. I haven’t had an outbreak for a majority of that time. Because of that, my doctor recently told me I could probably stop taking it. That actually makes me upset. I’ve spent a ton of money, and now I find out I could have saved?”

“Individuals must realize that if they stop taking their anti-herpes drugs, the herpes virus is still lurking in their system in a latent state. We recommend that these people take Gene-Eden-VIR, an effective, affordable herpes remedy that was proven to reduce herpes symptoms in a post-marketing clinical study.” – Mike Evans, polyDNA

In a post marketing clinical study published on August 12, 2013 in the medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs, researchers showed that Gene-Eden-VIR is safe and effective (3). Additionally, up to 70% of those studied reported a decrease in viral symptoms, and users experienced an increase in overall health (3).

Each ingredient of Gene-Eden-VIR was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent HSV-2. Essential Wholesale & Labs Releases Turmeric & Neem Scrub

Essential Wholesale & Labs Releases Turmeric & Neem Scrub

Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) January 21, 2014

Essential Wholesale & Labs offers Turmeric & Neem Scrub. According to aesthetician Laura Badcock, ‘we’ve combined some of the greatest that nature offers to balance oily and blemished skin — turmeric, mustard, neem, sea salt, grapefruit essential oil and jojoba oil — to create the perfect scrub. Not too oily, not completely dry, but, as one famous girl said, “just right.”’

Turmeric, best known to most people for its use as a vivid yellow powder used in spicy Indian cuisine, is one of the most exciting ingredients in cosmetics, personal care and alternative medicine. The subject of over 5,000 peer reviewed biomedical studies, turmeric is claimed by some experts to be equally effective as at least 14 different commonly prescribed pharmaceuticals. The primary active component of turmeric, curcumin is a well-established anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory and in India turmeric is considered an indispensable cleanser, exfoliant and brightener in beautifying skin care.

Essential Wholesale & Labs Turmeric & Neem Scrubs’ Atlantic Sea Salt base gently exfoliates and draws out impurities. Then they add turmeric and neem oil, which is another treasure of Indian skin care. The high fatty-acid content of neem helps to reduced redness and irritation as well as to cleanse and tighten pores. Next, Essential Wholesale & Labs adds mustard, which is a powerful rubefacient, stimulating blood flow by dilating capillaries, thereby promoting fresh, oxygenated healthy skin. Jojoba, Shea Butter and coconut oil soothe, moisturize, and soften the skin, while pink grapefruit oil works as a gentle skin conditioning and balancing tonic. Turmeric & Neem Scrub will leave skin soft, smooth, and glowing with health.

Essential Wholesale & Labs offers a selection of popular scrubs and polishes including Blue Green Algae Body Butter Polish, Chocolate Butter Body Scrub, Coffee Butter Body Scrub, Crème Honey Body Polish, Dead Sea Body Scrub, Virgin Coconut Sugar Scrub, Walnut Body Scrub, and others.

For use as spa treatment: Scoop between fingers, apply to wet skin and gently massage in a circular motion, focusing on rough areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Avoid use on any cuts or delicate areas. Remember to not put salt in an open cut. Do not exfoliate if skin is sunburned or irritated for any reason. Be careful not to fall on wet or slippery areas caused by using the scrub. Avoid using all body polishes on the face. Essential Wholesale & Labs offers a wide selection of cleansers and exfoliants for facial skin care in a separate section.

Psychotherapist Launches Groundbreaking Alternative Guide for Mental Health

Psychotherapist Launches Groundbreaking Alternative Guide for Mental Health

Front Cover of Book:
From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy…

Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) January 06, 2014

2014 is poised to bring a sigh of relief to the 450 million people with mental or emotional issues and diagnoses around the world, thanks to Amelia Kemp, Ph.D., LMHC. Dr. Kemp, a licensed psychotherapist, metaphysician and board certified alternative medical practitioner, has released a groundbreaking self-help book titled: From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy® – Alternative Holistic Descriptions & Healing Processes for 170 Mental & Emotional Diagnoses Worldwide. The book is the first to offer alternative holistic ways to describe, interpret and treat all 170 mental and emotional diagnoses in an attempt to remove the stigma and pathology associated with mental and emotional issues and restore sufferers’ sense of value and worth, while bringing them back into alignment with their inherent wellness.

Dr. Kemp, a psychotherapist for 18 years, believes traditional interventions are “fragmented” and they label people with “disorders” – the label itself causing them to feel sick and defective. She boldly breaks the mold, exchanging the stigmatized word “disorder” with “reaction” and prescribes holistic treatments that honor the whole person – mind, body and spirit. Dr. Kemp tells sufferers, “You’re not sick – you’re sacred.” The book addresses mental health through universal spiritual principles that are metaphysical in nature in order to get to the essence of the matter. It offers eight steps to mental and emotional well-being, along with a chapter specifically devoted to healing suicidal thoughts and behaviors since hopelessness is often the result of stigma and reduced self esteem. The book also honors other alternative healing modalities including herbal remedies, which are usually minimized in the American mental health community.

In addition to the 170 alternative descriptions and healing processes (ranging from anxiety and depression to family stressors and infidelity, to emotional eating/obesity, to the more severe diagnoses including psychosis), the book offers 24 healing exercises, illustrations, and a dozen aftercare practices. It also offers free online aftercare support directly with Dr. Kemp, who healed herself using many of the alternative interventions prescribed. Readers are invited to call in to the radio show From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy® on blogtalkradion.com, which will be aired weekly as an added support for those going through the Sacretherapy® process. The paperback version of the book is available now, as people are making New Year’s resolutions and feeling motivated to make a fresh start. It is especially beneficial for individuals or healers looking for alternative holistic solutie forth to live. The book is published by Mind Body Spirit Books, a Florida corporation, and will be distributed by Ingram, the world’s largest book wholesaler. Dr. Kemp will undertake a 10-city book and lecture tour. For more information visit the author’s website at http://www.DrAmeliaKemp.com. The paperback retails for .95, available on Amazon and from most book sellers; ISBN 978-0-9910284-0-5. Librarians may order the book via LCCN 2013919703. According to a special section published by The Times, today known as The West Orange Times, the magnificence of Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress was unveiled to the local community, the Central Florida tourism industry, and the world as Orlando’s original luxury resort on February 1, 1984.

“After the decision was made to create a topnotch resort, many months were spent in conferral with architects, engineers, and consultants. Their instructions were to design the best vacation facility in the world.”

Site clearing began in June 1982 and was noted as the most impressive construction project in terms of speed, teamwork, and quality.

“Public response to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has been phenomenal. The hotel’s occupancy level during the initial six weeks of operation has far exceeded projections. The future looks very bright for this extraordinary beautiful new resort which is getting underway.”

More than 800 community leaders, elected officials, and invited guests were in attendance on February 1, 1984 for the official ribbon cutting ceremony in the signature atrium lobby to commence the award-winning history in the making of Orlando’s original luxury resort.

Living up to its ‘cool pool’ designation, the lagoon pool remains the signature attraction at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress surrounded by private lush tropical landscaping, rock formations, modern lighting, and finishing touches. Located along the 1,000 feet of white sandy beach of Lake Windsong, the 800,000 gallon, ½ acre, free-flowing lagoon pool boasts 12 waterfalls, heated and non-heated pools, two whirlpools.

The new Water Slide Tower Pavilion, new Water Jet Splash Zone, and new children’s Rock Climbing Stations, complement resort favorites including the rope bridge, walking paths, and expansive, wrap-around sundecks, Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf, the Tennis and Racquet Club, and marked jogging, walking, and biking trails.

“The family vacation experience reaches new heights in Orlando with the new and enhanced activities just waiting for families to experience. Inspired by classic design, coupled with the simplicity of timeless fun, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress provides guests countless opportunities to make lifetime memories,” Engfer continued.
