Acupuncture is known to have been successfully used about 5,000 years ago
in Europe. Maybe more than 2 decades ahead!!!
I love the way he uses the phrase ‘conventional medicine’ which is actually
describing, in the long history of medicine (thousands of years long
history), a new fad or ‘craze’ for pharmaceutical drugs which in all
likelihood will not last much longer because of its obvious flaws. Overall
it is not successful as a medical system, it is successful as a profitable
business.
Integrative and Functional medicine are probably two decades ahead of
conventional medicine, maybe more based on my personal significant
experience. I was being treated for TWO YEARS just to try and raise my
vitamin D AT 10 to 28 taking 50,000 IU’s every other day and 10,000 IU’s
the remaining days and an Integrative MD brought me from 28 to 104 in less
then a month. And that’s just the D problem… Integrative medicine BLOWS
conventional medicine out of the water. CONVENTIONAL = MAJOR PROBLEMS
I WANT TO ADD THAT I KNOW T HERE ARE GOOD AREAS IN CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE
THAT ARE AWESOME BUT THE PILLS DO NOT HEAL, THEY BLOCK SYMPTOMS AND NEVER
ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING HEALTH ISSUES. I DON’T HAVE WORDS FOR SHARING WHERE
I’VE COME FROM AND HOW MUCH MY LIFE HAS CHANGED. CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE IS
ON THE DRUG COMPANIES LEASH. A DOCTOR IS GROOMED THROUGHOUT MEDICAL SCHOOL
AND SIMPLE THINGS LIKE THE KREB CYCLE ARE FORGOTTEN. DRUG COMPANIES OWN
AMERICAN MEDICINE LOCK STOCK AND BARREL… DISGRACEFUL!
…Supps? Some are good, some not, but it is critical to know what you are
taking, what brands to buy, when to take and with or without what. Do your
research, information is power
Brent isn’t really talking about alternative–but rather integrative.
Integrative can give you the best of both worlds should one choose to use
conventional medicine. He makes a good point about pills and supps. Both
have their place, but you have to know what you are taking. Pharms do not
heal, they “treat” symtpoms and cause deficiencies in the body. Short term?
Maybe, but best to get to the root of the problem….more…

i had this same converation w some hippies once, they were so against
doctors and so into herbal cures, I said “if we get in a car accident do
