my herbs died. got the video on my page. any pointers?
for beginners you cant go wrong with oregano rosemary parsley
Marigolds are a pretty good insect repellant too. I learned this in a
gardening class and tried it. I surrounded my herb garden with it. We had
little white flies or something hovering over the garden until I planted
them and then they went away. The pests are minimal compared to last year
without the Marigolds.
do you like straw mulch or wood ships best?
mint in a pot, cilantro, and oregano or marjoram…they’re all pretty
hardy.
Sage
I really love what you’re teaching, but the quality of filming makes it
unbearable to watch. Find some better techniques, a tripod, some
stabilization using software, or get a photography buddy. But thanks
anyways.
just discovered your website, great stuff!
I’d put them in while brewing the tea.
@classyisin Thanks, pronunciation depends on where you live, like potato.
i say the H as well so yay finally someone that sounds normal to me 😛
Mortar and pestle
its a good video but i allready know this stuff lil to beginer for me
thumbs up if u beive im 11
You’re right, but in small doses in does have uses. But like I said, it’s
more of an advanced thing and people definitely shouldn’t be spraying it
all over their gardens.
Parsley, lavender & green onion
@classyisin No worries, looks like it was someone else defending me. It’s
all good.
Should I try super oxygenated water……it’s labeled H2O2 and it’s
available in health stores. It’s very dangerous UNTIL you dilute it with
water. But i hear plants love it. Also tap water or filtered?
I have nothing much to add, my first time gardening. So thanks and namaste
I want to try fresh Sage, Basil, Peppermint and or Oregano plants.
Sweet. I’ll go check it out. 😀
phil too much talking
The first plants i have had are sage, parsley (they are both alive and
well) and mint which keeps disappearing due to the rain we’ve been having
in my area but the mint keeps coming back 🙂
H2o2 kills microlife
I think thyme is the best herb. Great in many dishes in the kitchen and can
be brought inside in the winter and still going strong.
Chives are amazing! In zone 5, they winter outside, in a container, sitting
on a metal mesh table in the backyard, and they do just fine! That is
hardy! Oh, I was collecting catnip seeds today, and after going inside,
with the cats, well… they just wouldn’t let go!
A wheat grass juicer may work for the chives.
