I have dehydrator collecting dust in the GARAGE. In the past, I have used it to make garlic powder. That’s the only reason I keep it around. I haven’t made garlic powder in ages, but when the mood strikes, I’m ready.
TYFS, I really wanted a way to dry my herbs without having to spend $50.00 on a dehydrator. I tried the fridge and that did not really work. Happy harvesting… Kris
Not anymore so than drying in a dehydrator. Not anymore than cooking dried herbs in recipes.
The best way to get all the benefits from the phytochemicals in herbs would be to eat them fresh.
I would be concerned it might kill the nutrients? Will it?
